The 3rd AAI Summit
The 3rd AAI Summit was held in Bangkok from 2nd - 4th of December 2014, organized by Thailand Automotive Institute. Conference materials here

Participants of the 3rd AAI Summit
The AAI Summit aims to contribute to the establishment of a healthy automobile society in Asia and mutual understanding among the institutes. The 3rd AAI Summit included an institutional introduction session and 4 sessions (management, safety, fuel economy/emission and EV). Each session stimulated active discussion among experts.
The summit resulted in better understanding of actual situation of each institutes and finding various issues due to their different backgrounds. Main topics were regulations in fuel economy/emission session, motorcycle safety in the road safety session and charging in the EV session. Feasible and reasonable measures seem to be urgent matters. The participants agreed that database establishment/accumulation and information sharing were very important besides improvement of research level. CAERI and SMVIC will co-organize the 4th AAI Summit in Chongqing next year.
